METS was conceived to further Northern Kentucky University’s mission to grow the regional economy through education and development of the local labor force by providing an unparalleled meeting, training and conference facility for organizations to come together, collaborate and learn using the latest technology.

METS opened in the fall of 2003 as the Midwest’s premier conference center and offers over $5MM in integrated technology for groups of 5-500 in both the for and non-profit sector.

The mission of The METS Center is to provide an environment in which individuals can develop skills that significantly contribute to their personal growth and development which will strengthen, enhance and enrich every aspect of the regional marketplace. METS values its role as an integral part of the metropolitan region and embraces its vision to position our region to compete in a global, knowledge-based economy.
